What is Demand Hub?

Elevating Premium Inventory with AI-Powered Demand

As the digital advertising ecosystem rapidly evolves, publishers face the constant challenge of maximizing their ad yield without increasing ad density or compromising the user experience.

Demand Hub, developed by Opti Digital, offers a strategic solution to this problem. Operating as an AI-powered, attention-based demand layer, it connects publishers with unique demand and high-impact ad formats—such as social ad display—to transform premium inventory into a brand-safe, high-value asset.

What is Demand Hub?
Demand Hub is an AI-powered, attention-based demand layer developed by Opti Digital. It functions as a strategic bridge to advertisers, offering unique demand and high-impact, ad formats, such as the Carousel (inspired by Social Media). Demand Hub focuses on turning inventory into a brand-safe, high-value asset.

How it Works
At its core, Demand Hub utilizes AI to predict user attention at the impression level and tailors its bidding accordingly. Because the format requires a high on-screen view time to perform well, it focuses its bidding to highly viewable placements, such as sticky right-hand side rectangles on desktop or sticky bottom banners on mobile.

To operate effectively within a publisher's header bidding environment, Demand Hub relies on several technical configurations:
  • Flexible Integration Architecture: It supports both Client-Side (C2S) and Server-to-Server (S2S) connections. For web browsers, it utilizes the Opti Digital Prebid.js adapter module, while mobile apps use the Prebid SDK. S2S integrations can be routed through a publisher's own Prebid Server cluster or Opti Digital's Cloud.
  • User Synchronization: To guarantee optimal targeting and match rates, publishers must enable iframe-based cookie syncing via their Prebid configuration; without this, performance is severely impacted.
  • Mandatory Parameters: Every integrated ad unit must be configured with a specific publisherId and a cleanly named placementId to process requests and ensure transparent reporting.
  • Compliance Verification: Bids will not be returned unless the publisher has properly added Opti Digital (Vendor ID 915) to their Consent Management Platform (CMP) and updated their ads.txt or app-ads.txt files with the required lines.
Strategic Advantage for Publishers
Publishers integrate Demand Hub to unlock incremental revenue driven by proprietary demand and innovative formats, all with no added operational complexity. The strategic advantages include:
  • Maximized Ad Yield without Density Increases: It allows publishers to increase inventory value without compromising the user experience or adding standard display formats.
  • Premium Bidding on High-Attention Slots: On premium, highly viewable placements, Opti Digital typically bids 15% to 20% above the market average.
  • Measurable Revenue Uplift: By combining curated Private Marketplace (PMP) demand with attention-prioritized high-impact formats, Demand Hub delivers a +5% to +10% revenue uplift on average.
  • Top-Tier Auction Competitiveness: Demand Hub consistently achieves an average win rate of ~14% and, following a short ramp-up period, reliably ranks among the top five performing bidders by value in the publisher's auction
