A/B Testing
Our native A/B Testing framework empowers enterprise publishers to run controlled experiments, seamlessly linked with the Revision System, to make data-driven yield optimizations with absolute confidence.
How It Works: Seamless Revision Integration
Our A/B Testing capability is deeply and seamlessly integrated into the platform's Revision System.
When you want to test a new strategy, you create a new "revision." Before rolling this revision out to all users, you simply link it to an A/B test. The system will then run the two configurations in parallel:
- The Control Group: Users who continue to experience your current, unmodified live setup.
- The Test Group: A designated percentage of your traffic that experiences the new revision.
Unlimited Testing Flexibility
Because the testing framework is tied directly to the core Revision System, any feature and aspect of your configuration can be tested efficiently. You can conduct precise experiments on:
- Ad Behaviors: Testing different ad refresh intervals or fine-tuning lazy loading thresholds.
- Demand Partners: Measuring the true incremental value of adding a new Supply-Side Platform (SSP) to your wrapper.
- Layout & Formats: Evaluating the impact of new dynamic auto-insertion rules or introducing new ad sizes into specific slots.
- Pricing: Comparing different floor pricing strategies to find the perfect balance between fill rate and eCPM.
Actionable Insights and Data-Driven Decisions
An experiment is only as valuable as the data it produces. Ad Manager Hub provides a dedicated A/B Tests Results dashboard to help you analyze the outcomes clearly.
This dashboard allows you to conduct side-by-side performance comparisons between your test and control groups. You can evaluate the effect of your changes across three critical pillars: Performance, User Experience (UX), and Revenue.
The platform tracks and displays key performance metrics, including:
- Net Pages RPM and Net eCPM
- Total Impressions and Impressions per Page
- Viewability percentages (% Visibility)
- Core Web Vitals and ad loading speeds (allowing you to ensure a new monetization tactic doesn't harm your site's technical performance).
The Strategic Enterprise Advantage
Implementing a rigorous A/B testing methodology fundamentally changes how your monetization team operates. It replaces intuition with hard data, empowering your team to make data-driven decisions with total confidence.
